A fascinating look at the decline of the man who shook up the world.
In October of 1980, Muhammad Ali came out of retirement attempting to become world heavyweight champion for an unprecedented fourth time. Some close aides and observers worried whether he still had enough in his battle-worn 38-yearold body to pull off another miracle.
His opponent, Larry Holmes, had broken into boxing as Ali's sparring partner en-route to the world title. In the weeks of training leading up to the fight, legendary documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles took an intimate look at Ali as he masterfully entertained onlookers at his training camp, trying to convince them and perhaps himself that he was indeed still The Greatest .
Here for the first time is the compelling never-before-seen footage from the build-up to the title fight, accompanied by newlyproduced, reflective conversations with surviving members and experts from the Ali and Holmes camps (including Larry Holmes, Angelo Dundee, Wali Muhammad, Dr. Ferdie Pacheco and Bert Sugar).
Muhammad and Larry tells the poignant, at times amusing, but ultimately heart-wrenching story of the battle between these two great friends and warriors and the fight that changed them, and boxing history, forever
The Rumble in the Jungle, shown in full on this 70 minute DVD, was a historic boxing fight between Muhammad Ali and the then Heavyweight Champion of the World George Foreman.
It was fought on October 30, 1974, in Kinshasa, Zaire (now Democratic Republic of the Congo). Ali won by knocking out Foreman in the eighth round.
The event was one of Don King's first ventures as a professional boxing promoter and he financed the fight by looking for an outside country to sponsor the event. Zaire's president Mobutu Sésé Seko was eager for the publicity such a high-profile event would bring.
On February 6th 1958 a plane carrying a Manchester United team, who were on the brink of ruling European football, crashed on a runway in Munich, tragically killing 22 people including 7 players.

This is a 95 minute profile of the three great teams Busby built at Manchester United over his 25 year reign. Using archive footage it follows Busby from his appointment to the creation and then destruction of the never forgotten Busby babes and through to eventual triumph at the 1968 European Cup Final.
